3. CONTENTS OF ACTIVE SUBSTANCES AND EXCIPIENTS
Each pipette of 0.5 ml contains:
Active substances:
Fipronil 50 mg
S-Methoprene 60 mg
Excipients:
Butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.1 mg
Butyl hydroxytoluene (E321) 0.05 mg
Clear, yellow solution.
4. THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
In cats:
To be used in flea infestations, alone or in combination with ticks and /
or biting lice:
- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new
infestations with adult fleas over 4 weeks. Protect from
the propagation of fleas by suppressing the development of eggs (ovicidal activity),
larvae and pupae (larvicide activity), originating from eggs laid by
adult fleas for 6 weeks after administration.
- Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus).
The product has prolonged acaricidal activity up to 2 weeks against ticks
based on experimental data).
- Elimination of biting lice (Felicola subrostratus).
The product can be used as part of a strategy for the control of allergic dermatitis,
caused by fleas (FAD) when pre-diagnosed by a veterinarian.
For ferrets:
To be used in flea infestations, alone or in combination with ticks:
- Elimination of fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.). Insecticidal efficacy against new
infestations with adult fleas over 4 weeks. Protect from
the propagation of fleas by suppressing the development of eggs (ovicidal activity),
larvae and pupae (larvicide activity), originating from eggs laid by
adult fleas.
- Elimination of ticks (Ixodes ricinus). The product has a long-lasting acaricide
activity up to 4 weeks against ticks (based on experimental data).
5. CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in kittens under 8 weeks of age and / or those weighing less than 1 kg,
due to lack of sufficient data. Do not use in ferrets under 6 months of age.
Do not use in sick animals (eg systemic diseases, fever), or in animals in
recovery period.
Do not use in rabbits due to the risk of adverse reactions, or
even death.
Due to a lack of studies, the use of this product is not recommended for use in animals
which is not intended.
6. URGENT REACTIONS
Do not overdose.
In cats:
Among the very rare suspected adverse reactions after use have been observed
transient skin reactions at the site of application (skin scaling, local alopecia,
itching, erythema) and generalized itching or alopecia. They are also used after use
increased salivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hypersensitivity,
depression, other nerve symptoms) or vomiting.
In case of licking at the site of application, a short period of time may be observed
hypersalivation due to the nature of the excipient.

One pipette of 0.5 ml per cat corresponding to the minimum recommended dose of 5 mg / kg
fipronil and 6 mg / kg for (S) -methoprene by topical application to the skin.
One pipette of 0.5 ml per porcine, corresponding to a recommended dose of 5 mg / kg of fipronil and 6
mg / kg for (S) -methoprene, by topical application to the skin.
Application method:
1. Remove the pipette from the pack. Hold the pipette upright, rotate and
remove the cap.
2. Turn the cap back and put it back with the other end on the pipette. Press it and
turn the cap so that the pipette is drilled, then remove the cap from
pipette.
3. Unfold the animal's coat in the area of ​​the neck edge before the shoulders so that
make the skin visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press it several times
times until the contents are completely emptied directly onto the skin of the specified
place.
9. ADVICE ON CORRECT ADMINISTRATION
The minimum interval between applications is 4 weeks.
